I believe that my deep enjoyment of my job brings a sense of calm and order to patients at anxious and sometimes a difficult times in their lives.

In addition, I believe that my enthusiasm and my interest in the job create a relaxed enjoyable environment in traditionally highly stressful moments for childless couples undergoing fertility treatment, namely  during IVF cycle.

Aims & Career Objectives

My long-term career aim is to work as a distinguished Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with special interest in Infertility and Minimal access surgery.

I have had the opportunity to obtain the best and up to date training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology over 9 years period in the Republic of Ireland.

I have been exposed to invaluable clinical experience in the main tertiary hospitals and Centres of excellence in Dublin, Cork, Galway and Limerick.

Furthermore, I completed a Clinical Fellowship in Human Reproduction and Assisted Conception (IVF) at the Human Assisted Reproduction Ireland (HARI) as special interest.

Research has been an important part of my training to date. Optimal patient care is a priority within the profession and evidence-based medicine plays a pivotal role in developing guidelines and procedures.

I have had the opportunity to lecture both undergraduate and postgraduate students and have enjoyed this immensely and I wish to continue.

I believe that I have a lot to contribute in the area of thought leadership, and in the evolution of the profession from a combination of research and participation in the academic arena.
